Description
There is no one more loving, generous, and life-giving than God, the Savior! Yet many people, children and adults alike, have never developed a relationship with God as their Savior. Children are exposed to many false messages, such as, “You don’t need a Savior”, “There are many paths to God”, “Create your own destiny.” But God says, “I, I am the Lord, and besides me there is no savior” (Isaiah 43:11).
In a world that rejects God as Savior, children desperately need to be introduced to him. They need to know God can save them from sin, from a hopeless life, and from their old life. They need to know that God the Savior is powerful enough to give them new life with him that will never end! It’s not only important for children to know what God can save them from, but also what he saves them to—a new life with him! Only God can save, and he generously gives himself to all who believe! When children understand these truths, they can respond by believing, and loving God with all their heart, mind, and soul.
The daily and weekly activities in this devotional are designed to help children believe in God as Savior and love him with all that they are.
